It was a big night for films like Nomadland, Judas and the Black Messiah, and Sound of Metal! Chloe Zhao's film Nomadland took home the biggest award of the night for Best Picture while the night included other major surprises such as Emerald Fennell winning Best Original Screenplay and Anthony Hopkins taking home the win for Best Actor for his performance in The Father.
This year's Oscars made history! Yuh-Jung Youn won for Best Supporting Actress in the acting category for her performance in Minari becoming the first Korean actress to win an Oscar.
