Have you seen a fantastic documentary or educational film lately?
American Library Association's Film and Media Round Table (FMRT) Notable Films for Adults Committee is eager to accept your nominations for outstanding films. The Notable Films Committee selects up to 15 titles each year. The five categories of films considered are
- Animation (non-feature films)
- Documentary/Educational
- Personal Essay
- Performance and Video Art
- How-To or Instructional.
Titles must be nominated by library professionals who are not affiliated with video producers or distributors, and who have viewed the film in its entirety.
Titles must have had a DVD or Blu-ray release during 2021 or 2020 or a DVD or Blu-ray release anticipated for 2021.
Titles offering online streaming access for sale or license to libraries and educational institutions, as well as free and open access online titles (e.g., on Vimeo or YouTube but without purchase or rental charges) are also considered.
