ICFilmFest: Virtual Children's Film Festival
The ICFilmFest, the first touring festival of world-class children's film programs, brings Seeing the Best in Others, a virtual program of twelve films from twelve countries for children ages 5-10 in collaboration with the Northbrook Library, on Saturday, November 6th at 2:00 PM.
This program of uplifting shorts from around the globe spotlights the champion in us all. Then a little girl uses a touch of magic as she outsmarts some young bullies in Freeze (Netherlands). The ICFF program features four Chicago premieres, and two U.S. premieres and will followed by an after-party with six film directors at 3:30PM. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Tickets for this virtual festival are FREE. Register here to receive links to the films and voting ballots.
Audiences will have the opportunity to attend a virtual after-party with film directors on Zoom and vote for their favorite films! Their ballots determine the winner of the coveted ICFF "Best of Fest" prize, to be awarded to the film that receives the highest number of votes. The "Best of Fest" award will be publicized internationally and announced on the Northbrook Library website and on www.icmediacenter.org
