You may think that bugs are pretty low on the evolutionary totem pole, but try this trick someday: stay alive without your head. The Giant Forest Cockroach can do exactly that and live for up to 10 days. That little info-nugget and many others (like the fact that the Giant Shield-Back Cricket's nostrils are on the side of its body), combined with a funky soundtrack and up close and personal views of a wide variety of bugs make Bugz a fun video for budding entomologists of all ages. While not quite in the same league content-wise as the Bill Nye titles or stylistically as Dorling Kindersley's animal series, the low price and truly colorful selection of insects make this a worthwhile addition.
