Ecosystems for Children: All About Forest Ecosystems

Discussing tropical, deciduous and coniferous forests in equally simple ways, the program introduces children to forest animals and their ecosystems, with thought-provoking segments on where certain animals might live and why (considering the animals' fur length, tail, etc.), as well as a close up and personal visit with a huge boa constrictor! Taped on location in Puerto Rico and the U.S. mainland, the three forest ecosystems receive solid coverage here that meets the specifications set forward in the National Science Education Standards.
