Even More Preschool Power!

The fifth entry in this excellent activity series for pre-schoolers (the first four were reviewed in our October 1990, December 1991, October 1992, and July-August 1993 issues), Even More Preschool Power! sports some fresh faces as the children embark on learning a whole new set of valuable skills. Activities include practical tasks (washing dishes, cleaning out a gerbil's cage), a couple Montessori based drills (squeezing, pouring), some aesthetics (recognizing the various shades of red, blue, and yellow; working on a multi-colored sand display), and just plain fun things (magic tricks, and standing on one's head). As always, the audio and video qualities are superb, the pacing excellent, and the accompanying songs fun to listen to (I was humming the jazz/scat "Time to Clean the Gerbie Cage" for days). Even More Preschool Power! is a worthy addition to the unchallenged king (and queen) of preschool activity video series. Highly recommended. Editor's Choice.
