Percy the Park Keeper

Based on the book by award winning children's author Nick Butterworth, Percy the Park Keeper tells the animated story of Percy, a kind and gentle groundskeeper who lives in the park he maintains surrounded by likable little forest critters. In the first of the program's two episodes, Percy and friends rescue a little bunny who's fallen down an old well because she doesn't look where she's hopping. In the second, Percy ends up sharing his cozy little bed on a snowy winter night with a throng of unexpected guests. Nicely animated, with subtle lessons about sharing, listening to directions and working as a team, this new addition to the Hallmark/Crayola partnership is both a cut above previous efforts and a pleasant surprise.
