Sesame Street: C Is for Cooking

Focusing on food, this yummy latest addition to the popular children's series finds Elmo making orange juice popsicles, real-life kids rhyming while creating sundaes, and the Cookie Monster playing as a contestant on a culinary game show. C Is for Cooking also features Oscar-nominee Amy Adams making an upside-down cake (but getting talked into using a different fruit by an anthropomorphic pineapple), and a segment on following recipe directions with Jason Schwartzman as the spangled host of a Cast Iron Cook reality show parody. Other vignettes include a visit to a sushi restaurant (with chopstick practice), a recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies (with a mention of grown-up help), a “Murray Has a Little Lamb” segment in which youngsters make stuffed corn tortillas at cooking school, and a class science project involving wheat and fresh bread.
