This animated spin-off from the Oscar-nominated movie—based on the classic children's novel by E.B. White—includes three episodes. “Little Skateboard Dogz” finds the titular tiny mouseling and his human “brother” George happily hooking up with a rockin' skateboard team, the Downtown Dogz. However, Stuart and George discover that kicking it with the new crew—who want the boys to spiff-up their clothes (and attitudes) to reflect the gnarlyness of the team—is not all it's cracked up to be after they are disciplined for blowing off an important school science project. Also including “The Great Outdoors” (a family camping trip story) and “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Taco Tuesday” (about a class officer competition), Fun Around Every Curve—featuring the voices of Hugh Laurie (TV's House) and David Kaufman—is sure to be popular. Recommended. [Note: also newly available in the series is All Revved Up!] Aud: P. (J. Williams-Wood)
