From Little Red Riding Hood to the Three Little Pigs, wolves have gotten a bad rap over the years. This interesting video dispels wolf myths and fosters a new appreciation for these shy and beautiful creatures. A teenage host introduces each segment, which cover topics such as breeding, communication, and feeding, using tasteful and non-violent wildlife images (which parents of small children--and those with sensitive stomachs!--will appreciate). Especially good are the interactive quiz sections, which feature cute graphics and solid information. A good supplementary program for elementary life science units, and a welcome addition to public library collections. Recommended. Aud: E, I, P. (E. Gieschen)
