It's a small world after all for longneck Littlefoot, who wonders when he will finally grow up--and after 11 installments in this long-running series, so do we. But as Littlefoot's sage grandfather notes, "small things can be very important." Littlefoot truly learns that size doesn't matter when he discovers a herd of diminutive dinos, who impulsively gobble up all of the "tree sweets" that Littlefoot himself accidentally knocked off the branches, thereby effectively ruining Nibbling Day. Facing the wrath of his herd, Littlefoot rats out the intruders, a decision he regrets after meeting the friendly creatures. Now Littlefoot must find the courage to stand tall and admit the truth before the other dinos wipe out his new friends. All learn that "every little thing has a role to play" when the Tinysauruses bravely get the best of attacking Sharptooths. Michael Clarke Duncan lends his voice to "Big Daddy," the leader of the Tinysauruses, while Camryn Manheim voices Tria, a Triceratops who rekindles an old romance with Cera's father, much to Cera's displeasure. It's hard to remember a time before Land Before Time, but for parents and dino-loving kids, it has evolved into one of the most consistently pleasing series' on home video. DVD extras include three new sing-along songs (as well as sing-alongs from previous entries in the series) and "The Land Before Time" music video. Recommended. Aud: P. (D. Liebenson)
