Charles Tazewell's classic children's story is milked for all it's worth in this heavy-handed schmaltzy tale of fuddy-duddy heavenly angels who are lightened up by the arrival of the "littlest angel," a weepy, whiny little boy who gets on everyone's nerves but the infinitely patient God's. Treacly, preachy, and sure to be massively popular (we're talking angels, here), this is a strong optional purchase. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)
