The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog!

Based on the 2004 picture book by author and illustrator Mo Willems, this cute animated adaptation brings back the titular character from the Caldecott Honor-winning Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! Voiced by Willems, the Pigeon is thrilled when he comes across a hot dog and can't wait to enjoy his “celebration in a bun.” But when young Duckling (the voice of Willems' daughter Trixie) mentions never having tried the delicacy, Pigeon is faced with the difficult dilemma of whether to share his special treat. Combining sound effects with music by Scotty Huff and Robert Reynolds, this silly story for ages 2-6 bows on DVD with extras including a behind-the-scenes segment featuring director and animator Pete List, and optional read-along subtitles.
