Based on the children's picture books The Rainbow Fish and Dazzle the Dinosaur by Marcus Pfister, these mild morality tales focus on friendship. The Rainbow Fish is a lovely brat, whose ego and selfishness eventually turn the other fish from him, until he wins back their friendship with generosity. Dazzle the Dinosaur follows a pair of young dinos who help each other rid the land of the dreaded Dragonsaurus. Solid, though unexceptional, animation and a requisite tune in each piece make the virtuous lessons easy to swallow. While not in the same league as Disney, this is still recommended. Aud: K, E, P.
