The title says it all--if you think first, and think ahead, you can avoid lots of problems. Ventriloquist Jonathan Geffner, his wife and daughter, and six puppets (the "Can-Do Club") teach the importance of not giving in to peer pressure or the need for instant gratification without carefully thinking through what might happen next. The information is fairly straightforward (what you do affects others, smart choices have good results, etc.) and the presentation, through skits and songs, tries to reinforce these concepts while having fun. The pace sometimes drags due to slow edits, but this video and the accompanying leader's guide can be a good tool to make younger children more aware of their actions and choices either at home or at school. Optional. Aud: K, E, I, P. (E. Gieschen)
