Though the box's claim that this tape "will help your six-month to four-year old understand his/her own emotions" is slightly exaggerated, the idea of increasing young children's emotional intelligence is sound. Viewers will see toddlers angry, making up, sharing, taking turns, being fearful of new experiences and accomplishing their goals...all without adult interaction or guidance. Grown-ups tend to interrupt and "fix" arguments before children can experience emotional differences--in this video children are allowed to develop their own since of self and social belonging. Solid production values and the myriad of healthy emotional examples encourage young ones to try it, they'll like it. Highly recommended. Aud: K, P. (N. Plympton)
