Oh no! You have a problem! What are you going to do? For many young children who are just beginning to develop logical thinking patterns, problem-solving can be a big challenge. The temptation is to whine, complain, ignore something, or run immediately to an adult. This excellent video, hosted by the lively and engaging Professor Pickle, features a multicultural cast of kids in realistic situations using easy strategies for solving personal problems of all sorts. Young viewers are encouraged to identify the problem, ask themselves what they can do about it, and assess the potential consequences. A plethora of examples are provided in each well-acted vignette, and helpful advice is offered on when it is time to seek an adult's assistance.
