Your Tiny Jungle Tot

Murray the Monkey conducts a train tour of a fictional zoo-land in this rather uninspired, repetitious program, aimed at kids three months to three years, which combines live-action animal footage of zebras, lions, giraffes, bears and, strangely, wallaroos, among others, with a few animal info nuggets and a song…and babies filmed in animal costumes…and, um, cookies decorated with animal designs paraded across the screen on sticks. Featuring rather bland nature footage, songs that are largely forgettable rip-offs of beloved classics such as "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "Oh, Susanna," and puppets that look like salvaged Muppet discards thrown in a washing machine with neon dye, this fairly pedestrian effort is not a necessary purchase.
