Stars: Chris Carrara, Jessica Bowman. From the makers of the abysmal and wildly successful Prehysteria, the second outing in the Moonbeam line is a moderately entertaining (for kids) Home Alone spinoff which pits 13-year-old Randy Mason (Chris Cararra) against of trio of bungling burglars holed up in a model home. Stuck in the attic, Randy uses his remote controls to launch an all-out attack with his cars, planes, yodeling Swiss mountaineer, and fire-breathing Godzilla. As kid's fare goes, this is far less offensive than most mindless efforts, and the script features enough interesting use of gadgetry to maintain the interest of youngsters. Audience; Although it will never be classified as a great or even good children's video, Remote is an okay divertissement for kids.
