Amazing Space

Presenting a series of deep space photographs set to a musical score, Amazing Space serves as a meditative exercise that seeks to wed a sense of the cosmos at large with a viewer's inner spirituality. Set to a score by Kristin Hoffmann, the film is divided into discrete chapters featuring unique tones and characteristics. “Galactic Beat,” with its synthesizer-heavy soundtrack, has a certain 3D feel as the camera seems to probe the depths of distant gaseous clouds and star clusters. “Celestial Sight,” which includes Hubble images of the farthest reaches of the universe caught on camera, has a mystical quality enhanced by some beautiful Indian music. A piano and ethereal vocal track informs the title chapter, which probes even more starry wonders. Featuring a Blu-ray, DVD, and CD, this multimedia package is both relaxing and awe-inspiring.
