Comic host (and I use both terms lightly) Kelly Monteith introduces this seemingly endless series of bloopers involving animals on camera. A lot of the humor is standard bathroom fare with animals breaking wind, dropping loads of excrement, or trying to "hug" female hosts. There are also a series of "hidden camera" jokes that are often either stupid or offensive (or both). The producers put a dead fish inside a newspaper vending machine, cajole shoppers into tasting dog food, and try to talk people into babysitting an ostrich. One segment involving naturalist Larry Battson and a flying squirrel who won't sit still is pretty funny, but too many of the skits involve the vacuous hosts of P.M. Magazine, who are truly as exciting in real life as they are on T.V. Not recommended. (Available from most distributors.)

As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
