The late University of Georgia graduate, humorist, and all-around good ol' boy Lewis Grizzard was a true son of the South, a fanatic fan of Georgia football and fried chicken, and one of the most widely syndicated columnists in the history of American newspapers. He was also quite capable of performing stand-up comedy, and this Knoxville, Tennessee filmed concert on DVD catches Grizzard at his best, regaling his audience with the sort of stories and commentary that made him such a celebrated author. For the millions of fans who never saw him in person, but enjoyed his columns (over 8,000) and books (20 total), this will be a treat, but it's also recommended for anyone who enjoys a little southern-fried humor.
