A low-resolution, camcorder document of the seminal punk band Bad Religion's 1989 swing through Germany during their acclaimed Suffer Tour, the lineup featured here of the ever-changing group included three original players: vocalist Greg Graffin, guitarist (and Epitaph Records founder) Brett Gurewitz, and another guitarist, Greg Hetson. While happy fans raid and dive from various stages, the group charges through an ironically upbeat "Suffer," a feedback-drenched "Doing Time," an epic "Latch Key Kids," and the poppish "Along the Way." Performances are cobbled together from footage taken at sundry shows (as viewers will note from the number of different shirts that band members appear to wear in any two-minute song). Special features include blunt but charming interviews with a pre-Ph.D Graffin and colleagues. A strong optional purchase. Aud: P. (T. Keogh)
