Viewers who love watching big machines at work will probably enjoy this technically well-made production, which features segments on the Aircrane 5 rocket, Chicago's O'Hare International Airport (believe it or not, they actually make O'Hare look efficient), the Goodyear blimp, the Sky Crane helicopter (very impressive), and the Russian-built AN-124 cargo plane (a knock-off of America's C-130 Hercules). What lost a couple of points from this reviewer, however, is the mechanical recitation of facts from those interviewed: the pilot of the Sky Crane sounds positively ho-hum when talking about this incredible flying monster; the main caterer at O'Hare rattles off the number of meals served each day with the same intonation he would use to tell someone about squeezing grout onto bathroom tiles; and Stephen Baldwin--last seen being hassled by a blue M&M--provides equally uninspired narration. Optional. Two other titles are also available in the series: Land Monsters and Sea Titans. Aud: P. (J. Carlson)
