In this intriguing production, Gary Montemayor and two other submersible divers enter the waters off the Cayman Islands to capture some incredible footage from more than 1,000 feet beneath the surface. No words can adequately capture the beauty of the sea at this depth. Fantastic creatures are caught by the submersible's lights, and as the sub rises to the top, viewers are given a glimpse into the various life forms that inhabit sections of the sea: sponge forests, giant lobsters, a prehistoric fish, and something called a 'crinoid' that you have to see to believe are just a few of the treats. An unusual, quality production that should prove to be of interest to ocean lovers and landlubbers, alike, Confessions of a Deep Sub Pilot is recommended. Aud: P. (J. Carlson)
