Dino World!

This fast-paced, fact-filled program from the seven-part Creepy Creatures series features a friendly paleontologist at the Royal Ontario Museum, which boasts a fairly large collection of actual dinosaur bones, guiding viewers back to the Mesozoic era, when the giant creatures roamed the earth. Young viewers will learn about the anatomy, habits, and behaviors of many types of dinos, from the ever-popular T. Rex and Stegosaurus to lesser-known specimens such as Chasmosaurus and Lambeosaurus. Also covered are the art and science of fossil restoration and reproduction used by natural history museums to create their displays; theories of extinction (asteroid, landscape and atmospheric changes, dinosaur war, etc.); and advice for budding paleontologists.
