After a decade-plus of musical silence, former Eagles frontman Don Henley hit the airwaves last year with the solo release of Inside Job. Filmed before a live audience in Dallas on May 25, 2000, this expanded version of a TV-aired special finds Henley in fine form indeed, as he mixes lively renditions of old Eagles classics like "Desperado," "The Long Run" and a Latin-flavored "Hotel California" together with solo hits such as "Sunset Grill," "All She Wants to Do Is Dance," and "The Boys of Summer," and solid new stuff, including the rousing "They're Not Here, They're Not Coming." With Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS soundtrack options and a pristine image, this will find a ready made audience built from the '70s through the early '00s. Recommended. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)
