Filmmaker Liz Cane presents an affectionate portrait of her nonagenarian grandfather Bill Cane, a retired musician and widower (following the death of his wife of 50 years) who not only chose to resume dating (attending seniors' dances to meet women) but also sought medical help to assist him in continuing sexual relations. Cane also returned to singing and songwriting, taking up guitar and ukulele again to record a couple of CDs and post his performances on the web. In this brief but engaging documentary—more than a bit rough-edged technically speaking—Bill Cane emerges as a vibrant, likable man who still gets choked up recalling his many years of marriage, but has obviously found a new lease on life as a result of his romantic interests and the resumption of his creative work. Comments from the women he's spent time with (as well as excerpts from his musical performances) testify to his vigor, talent, and charm, although the film is also fairly explicit about the medical means that enable Bill to have sex, and some viewers might find the details a bit uncomfortable. But Eager for Your Kisses is a joyful testimony to the fact that while life doesn't necessarily begin at 90, it doesn't necessarily end there, either. A strong optional purchase. Aud: C, P. (F.
