Aimed at K-3 students, Earth and You explores issues relating to environmental responsibility, using a straightforward and easy-to-understand approach to introduce themes about pollution, overuse of resources, climate change, and species extinction. Images are shown that will remind kids of home and neighborhoods, such as street litter accompanied by an explanation of how simple messes outdoors have a larger impact on nature. Warnings about wasteful running water, unnecessary uses of electricity, and pouring inappropriate liquids down sinks also helps build awareness, as do tips on reusable items (such as bags).
