For those of you unfamiliar with the latest in contemporary direction-giving, GPS stands for Global Positioning Satellite, a method of pinpointing--with almost perfect accuracy--your position anywhere on earth. Utilizing the GPS system, Don Ferguson looks at shipwrecks, coral reefs, and other splendors lying just a few feet below the surface of the sea in the Florida Keys in this projected 6-volume series. Volume 2, Shipwrecks of Upper Key Largo, focuses on several shipwrecks found in 16 dive sites off Key Largo. Ferguson's easy-going narration (usually accompanied by a plinking banjo in the background) is meticulous in cautioning viewers to beware of ecologically fragile sites as he informs us of the sea life to be found at each area, but the majority of the material covered is so detailed and specialized as to make it of interest only to divers and shipwreck hunters. Florida libraries will definitely want a copy of the entire series as will any library serving a larger scuba/snorkeling clientele, but landlocked libraries can safely skip this one. Aud: P. (J.
