Psychoanalyst and author Veryl Rosenbaum is the interviewer for this rather strange program on the subject of "grandparenting" which features members of the Rosenbaum family and other interviewees talking about topics ranging from nutrition to divorce. Jean Rosenbaum, host of several JVM Production tapes on no fat cooking, discusses the importance of fitness for the aging, recommending brisk walks and a no-fat diet. Linda and Marvin, who take care of their grandson, talk about the issue of grandparents who function as parents (the interview is conducted near a road, with traffic audible throughout); and divorce attorney Martha Minot alerts viewers to the rights of grandparents who want to see their grandchildren but may be denied access due to the parents' divorce. While interesting in parts, the poor arrangement and substandard production qualities (the audio track is particularly bad) make Grandparenting an unnecessary purchase.
