No scriptwriter could invent the bizarre characters he encounters, including former L. A. police chief Darryl Gates (whose own cop brother consorted with Heidi's girls), Madame Alex, whom Heidi usurped, and Ivan Nagy, Heidi's former(?) lover currently exploiting his association with her with a line of pornographic CD-ROMS.
