Ah, the tranquil beauty of the Emerald Isle! In this beautifully done tape, we see plenty of the "green" that draws tourists to Ireland each year, although I wouldn't say that this tape is necessarily for travelers. Rather, it focuses on the ecology, plant- and wildlife, and history of the national parks of Killarney, Wicklow Mountains, Connemara, Glenveagh, and Burren, and in fact seems to rather disapprove of human park visitors. Be that as it may, I can recommend this video for its gorgeous cinematography and substantive detail. Just be sure to put it in your nature collection, rather than your travel section, or perhaps even in your "stress-relieving" (Killarney, take me away!) section, if you have one. Aud: J, H, C, P. (K. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
