Who is Satan? Well, according to one interviewee in this Richard Kiley-narrated episode in A&E's popular theology-lite Mysteries of the Bible series, he's "incredibly sexy," "probably a heroin addict," and "a great dancer." Fortunately, interviews with the-nut-on-the-street make up only a small portion of this investigation into the concepts of heaven and hell. Ironically, with the notable exception of some flavorful fire and brimstone in the Book of Revelations, the Bible says little about heaven or hell as physical places. Our notions of hell, in particular, owe more to medieval paintings by Bosch and the detailed descriptions of Dante's The Divine Comedy. Likely to be popular, Heaven and Hell can be purchased separately or as part of a 7-tape set ($99.95) which also includes: Cain and Abel, Biblical Angels, The Last Supper, Herod the Great and others.
