There's actually not much to get excited about in this compilation of seven music videos that kicks off with the ‘70s-'80s disco/soul queens performing the title song in a cats-on-a-hot-tin-roof piece that has various members writhing in the bathtub and writhing on a bed, before setting off for a nightclub to strut their collective stuff in a considerably grainy-looking routine. Other tunes include the 1984 “Jump (For My Love)” (presented here as a dance number with, um, track and field footage inserted), “Dare Me” (with the sisters in drag as hotshot hustlers at a boxing gym), “Freedom” (treated here, apparently, as an ode to nonviolent protest, with b&w stills of Martin Luther King Jr., John Lennon, Rev. Desmond Tutu, etc.), and “Baby Come and Get It” (an invitation to register for the vote...ha ha, just kidding: this is another booty shaker with profound lyrics such as “baby, come and get it/come and get it while it's hot”). Although it ends on a bright and fun note--with the gals singing “Twist My Arm” in a day-glo colorful live action/animation setting (with Bobcat Goldthwait stumbling in)--this is ultimately another short, pointless, extra-less, bargain-priced grab bag disc (presented in DTS, Dolby Digital 5.1, and stereo) that doesn't even qualify as a hits package (no “Slow Hand,” “Fire,” or “Neutron Dance,” etc.). Not recommended. [Note: Diana: The Visions of Diana Ross, newly available from Image at the same price, is also well worth steering clear of, as it offers more of the same: another sextet of cheesy, dated music videos, the “best” of which are a remake of “Why Do Fools Fall in Love?” and the Marvin Gaye homage “Missing You.”] Aud: P.
