Magazines on video could very well be one of the biggest growth areas in the industry over the next few years. Hosted by Jimmy Ibbotson (of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) and Lynne Eisaguirre, this program opens with a visually stunning dive off San Clemente for a close look at the giant California Kelp. From there, the crew goes to Akumal, Mexico; Guanaja, Honduras; Palm Beach, Florida; and Grand Cayman. In addition to the dives, there are segments on choosing depth gauges, a clip from cinematographer Al Giddings' new video Ocean Symphony, and an interview with marine photographer Nancy Sefton. At the end of the tape (just like the back of a magazine) there are video advertisements for various scuba diving related products and services.
