Madagascar, an isolated island that could rightfully be called Africa's “Galapagos,” boasts some truly unique animals, particularly in a remote area known as the Ankarana preserve, where wildlife experts and scientists have discovered crocodiles and other exotic creatures that have developed remarkable behavior patterns. Presenting never-before-seen footage, this beautifully-lensed episode of NOVA visits the so-called Crocodile Caves to present an amazing look at crocs, chameleons, a wide variety of lemurs found only on Madagascar, and a strange-looking animal known as a “fossa,” which resembles a cross between a cat and a dog.
