Sisters, Mothers, Daughters

They say that killers don't see their victims as people like themselves; they see an object, a thing, something less than human. Here, conversations with sisters, parents, children and spouses, accompanied by home video and snapshots of murdered victims of domestic violence, bring the "humanity" back to these tragically lost lives: viewers will get to know these women. While their lives and accomplishments are examined much more closely than their untimely deaths, the purpose of the video seems to be more commemorative than informational.
