Christian comedian Robert G. Lee becomes unstuck in time in this mini-anthology of his best material from over 20 years. One moment he might be graying and displaying a bit of paunch, and the next his hair is brown and ‘90s-styled, his lean torso covered by a colorful sweater that Jackson Pollock might have designed. Lee's jokes cover the gamut from nostalgia to contemporary family life to faith. He entertains crowds with recollections of discipline in his childhood home, offering some biting humor about how his father wouldn't swear but expressed his displeasure with a paddleboard. Lee also compares safety awareness then and now, longing for the days when there were no seat belts on swings and kids regularly inhaled glue while also using it constructively. Lee switches gears by telling some innocuous jokes about marriage, quipping that once women lure men into wedded bliss they no longer need to be alluring. The program ends with a funny bit about figures from the Old Testament sitting around and comparing their miserable experiences (e.g., being swallowed by a whale, afflicted by sores, etc.). Likely to appeal to the Christian target audience, this is recommended. Aud: P. (T. Keogh)
