In celebration of her 60th birthday, the Queen of Rock announced that she was hanging up her red dress for good, tour-wise. Here, the Birthday Girl cuts loose one last time with a string of hits that have made her a titanic force in music over five decades. Intercutting interview footage with Tina, archival clips of classic duets with Cher, David Bowie, Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart, birthday wishes from a stellar line-up (Paul McCartney, Bono, Sting, Annie Lennox, etc.), and 15 career-spanning hits performed before an appreciative crowd--including "Nutbush City Limits," "What's Love Got to Do With It?" and "The Best"--The Best of Tina Turner, while not the definitive Tina Turner concert on DVD (that would be Tina Turner Live in Amsterdam [VL-9/97]), is darn close--especially during a dynamite onstage duet with Bryan Adams singing "It's Only Love."
