This video offers the only film footage taken of the Titanic ocean liner in 1912, as well as the only footage of the aftermath of the vessel's famed sinking. Also included is a 1937 radio interview with Charles Herbert Lightoller, the most senior officer to survive the Titanic's debacle, and an on-camera chat with a woman who survived the sinking as a baby (since she has no recollection of the events that transpired in the North Atlantic on the fateful night of April 14, 1912, one wonders why she has been so hotly pursued by journalists these many years). The film, which was discovered in a garden shed in England, has little to offer general audiences, especially those who feel they have already suffered an overdose of Titanic trivia. A curiosity which could only be appreciated by Titanic buffs and, possibly, a few historians, this is an optional purchase. Aud: H, C, P. (P. Van Vleck)

This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
