Sounding a bit like an updated trip-hop version of Swing Out Sister, this funky electronic quartet fronted by chanteuse Geri Soriano-Lightwood makes sweet music on the pulsing "Strangelove Addiction" and the moody "You're Always the Sun." Unfortunately, those two music videos are just about all they do (oh yeah, there's an audio only version of "Naughty Boy," which makes a lot of sense on a DVD, and a standard interview). The visual equivalent of a CD single (and likely to head in the same general evolutionary direction--i.e., to the electronic boneyard), this sampler--even at the low price of $7.98--seems like a pointless waste of digital mastering. Consider the full-length eponymous CD instead. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)
