This issue brings to a winning close the first year of Toy Train Revue, the fine video magazine for the toy train hobbyist. Stories include: lawyer and collector Mike Salnick makes some pointed remarks about the current condition of the toy train industry and offers suggestions for improvement; a visit with Lou Palumbo whose layout has some interesting sights and sounds, including the Bates Motel; tips on repainting cars, and more. And, even though the program carries Lionel advertising, some of the interviewees are certainly outspoken in their criticism of Lionel. Recommended. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
