Model trains are definitely not just for kids, as viewers will learn in this high-definition filmed look at elaborate train layouts featuring exquisitely crafted scenes. From coast to coast, model rail enthusiasts have created realistic villages, tunnels, bridges, mountains, and valleys in order to showcase their prized train collections, many of which have been captured by photographers Ted Benson and Doyle McCormack for the series Tracks Ahead, which has run for six seasons on the Milwaukee PBS station.
