Only the most comprehensive UFO collections or those overly interested in claustrophobic viewing should welcome this little Blair Witch Project-style production. In the finest traditions of UFOlogy, little doubt is exhibited here as to whether or not the Earth (in this case, specifically the Hudson Valley just north of New York City) has been visited by our friends from around the galaxy, and the usual engrossing spectacle of jumpy videos of lights in the sky are exhibited as, if not proof positive of the existence of UFOs, then deeply troubling proof that SOMETHING is out there. If not, as the video repeatedly points out in a kind of running non sequitor, why would we need Area 51? Other than the aforementioned jumpy lights, this program mainly features talking heads "weighing" the evidence and questioning government and military attitudes, as well as stories on the subject of UFOs. Mildly entertaining, the marginal pacing and production qualities make this an optional purchase, at best. Aud: C, P. (M. Tribby)
