Originally aired as a BBC television documentary, this gripping documentary offers compelling evidence that even to this day, American P.O.W.'s may be held in Laotian and Vietnamese prison camps. Former National Security Agency analyst Jerry Mooney thinks that the number may be over 300 men. Through interviews with wives and relatives, the film examines the individual cases of a number of men, who were presumed dead, but later showed up in photographs or on tape recordings. In addition, many Vietnamese refugees claimed to have seen American P.O.W.'s as late as the early 80s. Interviews with Henry Kissinger examine the political side of the question, as he points out that the Vietnamese held French P.O.W.'s until financial aid was offered similar suggestions have been made to the American government. There is a break about every 10 minutes in the video, which signals where the commercials went, but it's smooth and does not detract from the overall impact of this fascinating program. Highly recommended. (Available from most distributors.)
