Who Killed the Red Baron?

Manfred von Richthofen remains one of the most recognized names from World War I, thanks in no small part to the beloved Peanuts character Snoopy who, in his Sopwith Camel, is forever battling the Red Baron. This entry from the acclaimed PBS-aired NOVA series traces Richthofen's rise from a student to Germany's top fighter plane ace, while also--given the series' emphasis on science and technology--exploring the mystery of who actually killed the Red Baron (shot once in the chest during a dogfight), and chronicling the development of aircraft as weapons (less than 20 years after the Wright Brothers had lifted off from Kitty Hawk).
