In yet another variation on the “road movie” genre, Felix (Sami Bouajila), a 30-year-old gay Arab man living in France, sets off to find the father he never met, randomly encountering other folks without traditional fathers in their lives, some of whom ultimately serve as a kind of surrogate family for Felix in his ongoing trip of self-discovery. While there are a few nicely observed characters along the way to make this a passable road trip, Felix's quest is ultimately not terribly compelling and the finale seems hurried and unfinished.
