I like nostalgia as well as the next Boomer, but not in my special effects. Unless we're talking about in a historical context, they shouldn't be older than the car you drive, or the baking soda in the fridge. Culled from very old TV shorts, this video features little dogs dressed up like people hopping around on hind legs saying things with super-imposed rubber mouths like "Boy, are my dogs tired." This compilation of a half-dozen shorts not only looks completely thrown together, but full credits are listed at the end of every short. This wasn't Babe. This wasn't even Mr. Ed. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
