A badly miscast and sadly stagnant collegiate rip-off of When Harry Met Sally, this romance is devoid of a single moment of emotional sincerity or even a single character interesting enough to care about. Expressionless Freddie Prinze, Jr. (Down to You) and too-intelligent-for-her-role Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black) play the pals who complicate their relationship by falling into bed. Even if the film weren't a sad collection of pilfered, post-modern romantic clichés, director Robert Iscove's (She's All That) amateur effort would still fall flat because Prinze and Forlani have zero romantic chemistry. Not recommended. (R. Blackwelder)
